November 2015 Scottsdale Arizona real estate market update by Joe Szabo
Winter is here and the holidays are upon us! Let’s take a look at how the real estate market faired in November 2015. New listings are down by 26.3% from October with a total of 854 new listings vs. 1,159 in October. New contracts are down by .8% and closed sales are down by 15.9%. However, the median sale price is up from $397,000 in October to $406,000 in November and up from $375,000 in November 2014. The inventory went down by 2.34% from November 2014 with 3,163 active listings vs 3,089 this year. During these up and down activity months it is more important than ever to consult a real estate professional that knows the Scottsdale market.
