TheatreWorks was founded in 1970 and just celebrated its 40th anniversary. It is known as the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley. According to the website, it has “a reputation for artistic excellence, innovation, diversity, and integrity and is Silicon Valley’s leading professional nonprofit theatre company.” It presents a year-round season of musicals, comedies, and dramas in its two venues.
