Hugh Downs, retired American broadcaster, television host and famous author, he’s best known as the anchor of 20/20 and the host of The Today Show. He was also announcer for the Tonight Show with Jack Parr. Among his many accolades, he is also the host of numerous game shows and talk shows. An avid airplane pilot, we are sure Hugh Downs appreciates the glorious weather in Scottsdale, Arizona. He must as he makes his home here in Paradise Valley. No, we won’t tell you where he lives because we respect the privacy of our celebrities. We know that when his two children, two grandchildren and three grandchildren visit that there are great things for children to do in the Phoenix Area like the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.
