We have reached the final stretch of 2014! The holiday’s mean time with family and slowing down and it looks like the real estate market has decided to slow down as well. Let’s take a look at how the Scottsdale real estate market faired in November. New listings are down from October with a total of 834 new listings vs. 1,138 in October. This is a 26.7% decrease in new listings. New contracts and closed sales also took a dive at 0.7% and 26.2% respectively. The median sale price has taken a hit as a result going from $390,000 in October to $375,000 in November. The good news is that the median sales price is up 1.4% from this time last year. During these up and down activity months it is more important than ever to consult a real estate professional that knows the Scottsdale market.
