February 2014 Scottsdale Arizona real estate market update

Happy March everyone!  We have a lot of good news to report for those seller’s on the fence.  The median home price in Scottsdale Arizona rose to $390,000, a 5.3% jump from January.  This is on top of the lower inventory of listings on the market and the uptick of new contracts and closed sales.  In January new listings were down a whopping 20% while new contracts and closed sales were up 5.1% and 17.3%, respectively.  If you were considering listing your property, now would be an ideal time!
