There was a slight decline this month in the median of the home price of $1,100,000. However, the median sold price is up a whopping 22.2 percent from last June. This could be the result of fewer listings on the market. New listings are down 15.7 percent while new contracts increased by 5.8 percent for a total of 55 new transactions in June 2013. The summer months tend to slow down, but we are still seeing great recovery progress from 2012. We anticipate a wonderful fall with all of the great activity we’ve seen this year so far.
