American Indian –See sites seldom seen by non Indians and enjoy foods, arts and ceremonies. The setting is the Colorado Plateau, the home of the Anasazi Indians more recently the Hopi, Navajo and Pueblo.

Taking off regularly from the Grand Canyon National Park Airport located at the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, this tour heads for the eastern part of the Canyon.
This 40-50 minute airplane tour takes you into the heart of the Canyon, crossing Zuni Point, heading through the Zuni Corridor, where you’ll see the Desert View Watchtower, the Painted Desert, and the Navajo Indian Reservation. Then the journey takes you to where you are crossing Temple Butte and heads for the North Rim to show off the Kaibab Plateau and Kaibab National Forest.
You can see Imperial Point, the highest point in the Canyon and then you are headed for Dragon Corridor, the most open part of the Canyon.

Enjoy musical performances and traditional dances. Tribes featured include Yavapai, Zuni, Pima-Maricopa, Hopi, Apache and Diné (Navajo). The event celebrates Native American culture and its people.
Performers present their history, pottery, clothing and more to introduce people to the diverse lifestyles. Each performance ends in an audience-participation round dance that includes everyone and brings a closure to this unique journey.
