Visitors can learn the fascinating history of the Pima and Maricopa people at the Hoo-Hoogam Ki Museum. Hoo-Hoogam Ki, which loosely translated means House of Those Who Have Gone is completely constructed of Adobe and desert plants and offers a wide variety of historical artifacts, antique photography, art along with the occasional local artist demonstration. Visitors can also try Native American foods in the museum dining area which makes this an education and entertaining way to learn about the local Native American populations.
